"Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game. His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Audy is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."
The 21-year-old second baseman for the Spiders collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats to get his name in the record book.
A. Espinosa struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This season Espinosa is hitting .412 with 35 hits, 1 home run, 14 RBIs, scored 13 runs and played in 23 games. | | Wednesday, June 25th, 1958: Year Ends for Terry McHaney in Ithaca Terry McHaney will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue.
