New London pitchers couldn't get him out as McKerchar seemed to know which pitches they were throwing.
"I think the Wolves were stealing signs," growled one unhappy New London fan.
"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," exclaimed the jubilant McKerchar in the postgame press interview.
C. McKerchar singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
