The top votegetter in this year's Canadian Prarie Baseball Outstanding Hitter Award balloting was Jorge Guerrero, the outstanding Thunder Bay third baseman. He finished the season with a .321 average and a .429 on-base percentage. Jorge Guerrero also registered 109 hits, 24 doubles, 9 triples, 5 home runs, 64 RBIs and 70 runs scored.

Cristóbal Guereca finished off a fine season by taking home the Canadian Prarie Baseball Outstanding Pitcher Award today.
The Thunder Bay hurler went 23-1 on the year, posting a 1.94 ERA. Guereca also tallied 239 strikeouts in 195.1 innings and allowed opposing batters to hit only .181 against him.
