It might just be the preseason, but baseball is in the air! |  | Cadonau Wins RCS 1966 Letterman of the Year (Hitter) Friday, May 27th, 1966: Monty Cadonau of the Memorial University Seahawks had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Letterman of the Year (Hitter) for 1966.
The 19-year-old left fielder put up a .381 average and a .504 on-base percentage, piling up 72 hits, 8 doubles, 3 triples, 6 home runs, 45 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |  | Lévesque Scoops up RCS Letterman of the Year (Pitcher) Thursday, May 26th, 1966: Generally, the Letterman of the Year (Pitcher) goes to a starting pitcher. For someone in the bullpen to receive this honor, he has to be something special.
Well, Théo Lévesque of St. Mary's University was very special this year.
He was announced today as the 1966 Royal Canadian Society of Letters and Athletics Letterman of the Year (Pitcher) winner.
The talented Huskies relief expert dominated with 14 saves in 16 tries. Lévesque finished the season with 4 wins and no losses, a 1.90 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 23.2 innings, allowing 20 hits, 5 walks and a .238 OBA. | | | | |
