 | Moncton's Hickox Wins CPB Outstanding Hitter Award
Monday, August 29th, 1966: The top votegetter in this year's Canadian Prarie Baseball Outstanding Hitter Award balloting was Henleigh Hickox, the outstanding Moncton third baseman.
He finished the season with a .343 batting average, 109 hits, 18 home runs, 79 RBIs, .419 OBP and 67 runs scored.

Sunday, August 28th, 1966: This year's winner of the prestigious Canadian Prarie Baseball Outstanding Pitcher Award is Bob Hicks of the Troi-Rivieres Destruction.
This superb relief artist made 14 relief appearances and earned 6 saves. Hicks struck out 53 in 113.1 innings and had a 9-3 record with a 3.97 ERA.
