Included in his season stats were 147 hits, 28 doubles, 6 triples, 14 home runs, 76 runs scored and 112 RBIs. |  | Paradis Tops Ligue Magnifique Pitchers Monday, August 29th, 1966: The Rimouski Loggers have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's John Paradis, this year's Ligue Magnifique Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.
Paradis compiled a 11-5 record in 26 starts, tallied 119 strikeouts in 137 innings and recorded a 3.09 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .243 batting average against him. | | | | |
