Wednesday, November 2nd, 1966: Fabio Paulinho of the Burlington Blizzard proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Lynch Association Wicked Good Batter.
Paulinho hit for a .469 average while collecting 134 hits, 45 doubles, 8 triples, no home runs, 74 RBIs and scoring 76 times.

 | BA Gives out Wicked Good Batter, Ornallas Gets Prize
Wednesday, November 2nd, 1966: Basilio Ornallas of the Portland Steeldogs had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Wicked Good Batter for 1966.
The 21-year-old second baseman put up a .422 average and a .452 on-base percentage, piling up 98 hits, 40 doubles, 2 triples, 9 home runs, 52 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
