The 25-year-old first baseman put up a .327 average and a .369 on-base percentage, piling up 150 hits, 31 doubles, 6 triples, 32 home runs, 93 RBIs and 76 runs scored. |  | Keystones Argelio, PBA Pitcher of the Year Winner Saturday, August 20th, 1966: António Argelio of the Pittsburgh Keystones outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 1966 Pennsylvania Baseball Association PBA Pitcher of the Year.
During his remarkable year Argelio posted a 11-5 record in 28 starts. In 185 innings he yielded 165 hits and 59 walks while striking out 131 and compiling a fine 3.31 ERA. | | | | |
